Ingredients
- 1 pkg cream cheese (8oz), room temperature
- 2 cups (500 mL) cottage cheese
- 1 pkg (24 g) taco seasoning
- 2 cups (500 mL) mild salsa
- 2 cups (500 mL) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 beef steak tomato, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) minced green onions
- ¼ cup (60 mL) pitted and sliced black olives
Directions
| 1. | In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, cottage cheese, and taco seasoning with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread this mixture into a 9-inch (or a little larger) round serving dish. |
| 2. | Layer salsa, cheese, then tomato. Garnish with green onion and black olives. Refrigerate and serve chilled with tortilla chips. |
