A fun summer dessert that the family will love!
½ cup (125 mL) 2% milk
3 ½ cups (875 mL) vanilla ice cream
½ cup (125 mL) whipping cream
1 Tbsp (15 mL) powdered icing sugar
Garnish with chocolate sauce and crushed Oreos as desired
Place milk, ice cream and Oreos in blender in order listed. Blend until smooth, stopping and scraping the sides if necessary. Pour into glasses.
Beat cream and powdered sugar on high speed with an electric blender until stiff peaks form. Spoon over milkshakes and top with chocolate sauce and crushed Oreos as desired. Serve.
This recipe makes 4 small or 2 large milkshakes.
Feel free to use anywhere from 1-3.25% milk for these milkshakes.
