Vanilla Date Smoothie

Just try it-you’ll like it! The flavor combo will surprise you.


  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 1 small banana, broken into chunks
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) vanilla yogurt
  • 4 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground nutmeg


1. In a blender, combine milk, banana, yogurt, dates and nutmeg.  Purée until smooth.  Pour into 2 glasses.
