1. | Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Butter a 12-cup muffin pan or line it with paper liners. |
2. | In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, chives, basil, salt, oregano, and garlic powder. |
3. | In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter with sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs until well blended. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in half of the flour mixture; stir in milk until blended. Stir in the remaining flour mixture until moistened. Gently fold in shredded cheese and ham. |
4. | Spoon into prepared muffin pan. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a tested insert in the center comes out clean. Let this cool in the pan on a rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool. Serve warm or let cool completely. |
