Mmmm butterscotch. The perfect pairing to many desserts and sometimes even brunch!
1 1/4 cups (300 mL) dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup (125 mL) unsalted butter
1/2 cup (125 mL) whipping cream
In a small sauce pot, over medium heat, stir brown sugar and butter until butter melts. Whisk in cream and stir until sugar dissolves and sauce is smooth. Serve warm.
