1 pkg refrigerated pizza dough (enough for 1 pizza)
1 cup (250 mL) shredded Mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup (175 mL) chopped, cooked ham
2 green onions, chopped
1 Tbsp (15 mL) butter, melted
1/4 tsp (1 mL) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (1 mL) Italian seasoning
Optional: pizza sauce for dipping
Step 1: Turn the oven to 400°F (205°C). Spray an 8×8” baking dish with non-stick spray.
Step 2: Lightly flour the counter and roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10 x 14”.
Step 3: Sprinkle with shredded cheese, ham, and green onions, leaving a 1” border around the edges.
Step 4: Starting at the long side, roll up tightly and pinch the dough together at the ends.
Step 5: Place on a cutting board and cut roll in half. Cut each half into 4 equal slices and place in baking dish.
Step 6: Melt butter in microwave on high for 15-20 seconds. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.Use a pastry brush to dab the butter on the top of the rolls in the pan.
Step 7: Bake for 18-20 minutes, until light golden brown on top. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving with pizza sauce.
This recipe is a great way to use up left-over cooked ham. Don’t have cooked ham? Use thick sliced cooked ham from the deli counter.
